Freedom ride...

 At the shelter...

ROSE!

ADOPTED!

HI!  My name is Rose!  My foster Mom calls me "Rose the Nose"!  I'm not a GSP, but was rescued from a very high-kill shelter in NM along with my friend Kandy, (we were called Charity and Kari when we were rescued) because a foster home volunteered to take us in until we could get all the vetting we need and find new homes.  I am a Border Collie/Heeler mix and everyone tells me how pretty I am!  I am about 2 years old and get along fine with everyone I meet.  I like other dogs and I try to ignore the cats and chickens at my foster home.  I am crate-trained and do a pretty good job walking on a leash.  My foster people say that I am very smart!  I really love my foster home, but would love a place that's my own.  When we arrived from the shelter, both of us had upper respiratory infections and lots of ticks.  Both of us were in heat, too.  We have needed lots of basic care and are now waiting to get spayed.  We've had all our shots, have been micro-chipped and have been treated for our infections and parasites.  As soon as our spays are done, we will be ready for our new homes.  We are both available for adoption seperately.

I have lots of energy, so will need a home where I can get lots of exercise and attention.  In return, I'll love you forever!

Rescue requires that we be adopted as in-home companion animals and that our new homes have appropriate fencing and resources to provide what we will need to have happy and healthy lives.  Our adoption fee is $175 each...but what a deal!  We are fully vetted and have started to learn all the basics to be trusting and loving friends to our new humans!  If interested in adoption, please contact rescue.

Success! Message received.
